Lake Armington is a true mountain lake sitting at the foot of Piermont Mountain. The lake is fed by its streams and springs and is relatively small at 143 acres. Its water flows into neighboring Lake Tarleton and from there into Eastman Brook through Piermont, NH onward to the Connecticut River.
Lake Armington Association was incorporated in 1972 with the Mission to preserve and protect the lake and surrounding environment through its stewardship programs.
Today major programs are Lake Host, Weed Watchers and Water Quality Testing, all part of State of New Hampshire environmental initiatives.
